The mission of the Tuality Healthcare Foundation is to acquire and manage philanthropic contributions.
On April 22, Tuality Healthcare Foundation held a plant sale to benefit the Foundation’s cancer fund. Bob Terry, owner of Fisher Farms in Gaston generously donated all of the plants. Bob has served as a member of the Tuality Healthcare Foundation Board of Director and is a champion supporter of Tuality Healthcare’s cancer programs. The sale generated approximately $2,000.
The Cancer Fund benefits all of the cancer related programs and services provided by Tuality Healthcare and the money raised directly benefits local cancer patients. Large items, such as purchasing $150,000 diagnostic programs, to small items, such as providing $25 gas cards to patients so they can drive to their appointment, are paid for through the cancer fund. From providing cancer support classes to purchasing soft pads to make mammograms more comfortable, money from the cancer fund covers a wide range of services for patients in western Washington County.
We send a heartfelt “THANK YOU” to Bob Terry and Fisher Farms!
