The Tuality Healthcare Foundation has undertaken the $1 million “Building a Healthier Community” campaign to help ensure that Tuality Healthcare continues to provide excellence in patient care and has the very latest in medical technology and equipment.
Each year, the Foundation will fundraise for projects that are significant to the growth of the organization and are needed to keep up with new equipment and technology.
Here are just a few of the ways your support of the Campaign will help Tuality and our dedicated staff provide the best in patient care and ensure that patients receive the most innovative and compassionate care. And this is just the beginning!
Cancer Care — From the latest, most innovative equipment for removing brain tumors, to positioning equipment to make radiation treatments more comfortable, your support of our ongoing cancer care efforts will help us save lives.
Pediatric Care — As we reach out to our youngest patients, we can help by providing such things as new cribs, an upgraded infant hearing screener, physical therapy equipment specially designed for kids, a pediatric code cart, and much more.
Cardiac Care — Our heart patients will benefit for years from the enhanced cardiac rehab equipment you can help us provide, as well as a new transport ventilator and ongoing health and wellness education.
Stroke Care — Help us help our stroke patients during their therapy by providing specialized physical therapy equipment, such as a gait trainer and a standing aid, among other things.

Tuality Healthcare Foundation
Announces $1.7 million
¡Salud! Endowment Campaign
For the past 13 years, Oregon Wineries have united to raise funds for Tuality Healthcare’s ¡Salud! program by donating exclusive Pinot noir bottlings available only through the annual ¡Salud! Oregon’s Pinot Noir Auction. Winery staff also assists medical professionals in accessing and educating workers at the work site as well as to identify those who are truly seasonal.
Currently, ¡Salud!’s outreach programs are funded entirely from the proceeds of the ¡Salud! Pinot Noir Auction. The past 13 auctions have raised nearly $3.9 million. As generous as ¡Salud! supporters have been, recent economic conditions indicate that we need to stabilize funding for the core operations of the outreach program without relying solely on the success of the annual auction.
Because ¡Salud!’s most important assets are the bicultural medical professionals who work to provide healthcare and outreach services, we are initiating a $1.7 million endowment to help fund the position of the ¡Salud! Services Clinical Nurse Manager. This will allow us to provide a consistent level of service from the endowment interest income, which will offer us some insulation from the economic cycles that can impact charity auctions.
Ronni Lacroute, owner of WillaKenzie Estate winery, has made a $500,000 lead gift to ensure the success of this endowment. This gift was made in honor of ¡Salud!’s current nurse manager, Leda Garside, R.N., BSN. Leda is a credited with the success of the outreach program over the past seven years. She has been instrumental in creating relationships and developing programs that have improved the health and wellness of the seasonal vineyard workers and their families.
